Like most moms, I struggled with weight loss. And after the epidemic, I realized I had gained ANOTHER 40 lbs. It seemed no matter how much better I ate, or how much more I walked, it wasn’t going away. It slowly became a cornerstone of my life, feeling discouraged and exhausted with the process daily. It wasn’t just affecting my physical appearance, but taking its toll on my mind.. my whole life. I was unrecognizable. My life, was unrecognizable.
I knew if I wanted to get the type of life I wanted, a few things had to change. One, I needed to take my Keto diet serious as it was the only one that showed results. Two, I needed to take my mental health serious, and to lessen the stress and chaos in my life. And three, I needed to move. I needed to cancel my Netflix and get out of my depressive Netflix binging. Will always be a sucker for love is blind though!
This led me into developing a life that I once again, no longer recognize. Except this time, it was better than I ever thought possible. That saying, “The Domino Effect”, had become real in my life. One good habit becoming another an another, until I was slowly being surrounded with a life I loved, and more importantly, a love for myself. What I’ve learned and the progress Ive made in my life during this journey not only has kept me motivated to continue this path and never look back, but has also given me to the courage to share it with others. I know what it’s like to lose complete control and have to pick up the pieces. You don’t have to do it all at once, you just have to start!
